Zeroband This is the bandwidth that you get with some ISP's. It means you can't get through to the Internet. Either you get a busy signal trying to reach your ISP, or a network is down message, or cannot find mail server, or cannot find web site, and so on. Some ISP's are stretched to their limit because they have more customers than network can handle.

Zip To compress a file using a program called PKZIP. Compression ratios of better than 2 to 1 are possible with some files. Zipped files have the advantage of taking less time to transmit over the Internet and of using less space on your hard disk. Before a zipped file can be used, it must be unzipped (decompressed) using a program called PKUNZIP. Both programs are available from PKWARE Inc.
